The Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (GYEF) is a major event of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG), which brings together young entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world to address global challenges and drive sustainable social growth. Since its inception in 2014, the Forum has engaged more than 6,500 stakeholders across 34 countries and regions, including unicorn founders, angel investors, policymakers, and representatives from venture capital firms, chambers of commerce and academic institutions.
Think Global, Be Agile: Navigating the Next Era of Entrepreneurship
This year’s theme, Think Global, Be Agile: Navigating the Next Era of Entrepreneurship, reflects the realities of an increasingly complex global market, where the need for skills, courage, adaptability and speed meets the ambition to succeed. Bringing together over 600 participants, who along with young entrepreneurs and investors, include representatives from government and academia, the Forum will feature discussions on market strategy, technology adoption and the mindset and resilience needed to sustain growth.
The Forum will leverage expertise from Hong Kong, and include visits to Qianhai, Shenzhen. These exposures will highlight collaboration opportunities within the Greater Bay Area and beyond, inspiring participants to think ambitiously, act decisively and scale globally.

In an era of rapid change, high uncertainty and the transformative power of AI, how can young people turn challenges into opportunities? How can they think boldly, take creative action, and shape the future through clear goals and resilience—encouraging a new generation of entrepreneurs to adopt a mindset built on calculated risk-taking, agility and continuous growth?
- Harnessing AI to drive digital transformation:
Leveraging AI-enabled tools to help enterprises enhance their core competitiveness, and leverage flexible business models such as One Person Company (OPC) to respond to a fast-evolving global market.
- Accelerating cross-border business expansion:
Sharing practical insights on cross-border financing, market development and internationalisation strategies to help businesses seize global opportunities.
- Leveraging Hong Kong’s strategic strengths to connect the Greater Bay Area:
Through an on-site visit to Qianhai, Shenzhen, the Forum will highlight collaboration opportunities between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area—and beyond—encouraging participants to think boldly, act decisively, and adopt a global perspective.

Through practical workshops, the Forum will teach AI learning, creativity and productivity tools to support individuals and businesses in achieving rapid growth in operational capability and business scale.
- Synergy across the Greater Bay Area and resource matchmaking:
The Forum will cover how to leverage the Greater Bay Area’s strategic location and connect enterprises with bank financing, government funding and cross-border policy incentives. Through an on-site visit to Qianhai, Shenzhen, as well as group discussions with ecosystem partners and one-on-one consultations, it will help accelerate companies’ market entry.
- AI-driven creative industries and IP internationalisation:
The Forum will explore how to apply AI in the cultural and creative sectors and in intellectual property (IP) to unlock the deep value of Eastern culture and convert it into scalable knowledge-based IP. By combining experience in digital art, immersive technologies and AI entrepreneurship, participants will work toward building brands rooted in local culture while reaching global audiences.

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups
The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) was founded in 1960 and is now the city’s largest youth service organisation. For the past six decades, it has been committed to serving the youth of Hong Kong by providing a variety of services, activities and programmes, which have an annual attendance of over six million. We encourage youth to reach their fullest potential, and with community support, we now have over 90 service units. We also have 12 core services, which include the Youth S.P.O.Ts, M21 Multimedia Services, Employment Services, Youth at Risk Services, Counselling Services, Parenting Services, Leadership Training, Volunteer Services, Education Services, Creativity Education and Youth Exchange, Leisure, Cultural and Sports Services, and Research and Publications. Our aim is to motivate young people to grow into responsible and dutiful citizens and we now have over 250,000 registered volunteers and over 500,000 registered members. He Innovation Foundation
In January 2017, He Innovation Foundation (former name: Shunde Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) was registered and established in the district civil affairs department under the promotion of Shunde District Party Committee, District Government and Shunde entrepreneurs. The original registered capital of the Foundation is RMB 2 million, which is donated by the Shunde State-owned Enterprise Kechuang Group. The foundation raises funds through targeted fundraising, the first phase of which is donated by Mr. He Xiangjian of He Foundation as the start-up capital of RMB 300 million, which will be used to support the development of innovation and entrepreneurship of young talents in Shunde.
The Foundation is a grant-making and supportive organization with the mission of “fostering youth, inspiring innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, and promoting entrepreneurship”.It is committed to supporting, financing and promoting youth entrepreneurship programs that promote social innovation, facilitating industry exchanges and cooperation, innovating entrepreneurship support models, and creating an entrepreneurial atmosphere conducive to sustainable social development.

Pre-registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent from the Secretariat upon successful registration. The registration deadline for the Hong Kong forum is 15 October 2026. You can register and pay here.

- Do I need a visa to visit Hong Kong and Shenzhen?
Hong Kong: Nationals of most countries do not require a visa to enter Hong Kong for tourism and can stay for periods varying from seven to 180 days, depending on nationality. (Please be aware that if you are from India or from Taiwan, you may need a Pre-Arrival Registration). If you are unsure about your status, please check the Hong Kong Immigration Department website or check with your consulate.

Shenzhen:Foreign nationals in Hong Kong can apply for the Visa Free Transit to visit Guangdong province for a maximum of 144 hours (6 days) via designated entry ports in Shenzhen through legally registered travel agencies in Hong Kong and Macau. However, visitors to Hong Kong might need Chinese visas. Please check with the Chinese consulate/embassy in your location.
